Hidden away in the heart of the Norwegian mountains, there's something pretty special going on – a rock garden filled to the brim with all sorts of uncommon and rare alpine plants.

Now, this garden is not first of all a ornamental garden, but rather a bit of a private conservation project. We've got about 1200 different species of alpine plants from all over the world. Here we are getting our hands dirty with some old-school hand pollination techniques to make sure these plants keep on reproducing. It's all about making seeds to help keeping these wild plant species in cultivation.
